One week after Evan Reid was last seen in Paisley, officers looking for him made several stops and spoke with both pedestrians and drivers.
On Saturday, 1 April 2023, between 9:30 and 11:15 p.m., about 150 people were approached in the Inchinnan Road neighborhood in an effort to find the Evan Reid who was 31 years old.
On Saturday, March 25, at 10:06 p.m., Inchinnan Road was the scene of Evan’s last confirmed sighting.
Evan is slim and standing at 5′ 8″ or so. He was last seen wearing a dark blue pair of jeans, a black body warmer, a khaki green sweater, and grey athletic shoes.
Chief Inspector William Graham, Renfrewshire Area Commander, stated: “On Saturday evening, precisely one week after the last known location we believe Evan was, we carried out a road check, speaking to drivers and appealing for any additional information. Nearly 150 people were interviewed during this check, and I would like to thank the public for continuing to support this investigation.
“While we investigate every tip we receive from the public, I would like to reiterate my plea for anyone who may have seen Evan after 10 p.m. on March 25 and we haven’t already spoken to you to get in touch.
“Local and specialized officers are still conducting land and water searches close to Inchinnan Road, near the River Cart, and our investigations are still ongoing. “.
